Terminator 5 News Update
You've probably heard by now that the project backed by McG has been canceled. Sounds like there's also been some scuffle about the movie rights. But things have now been settled and a new Terminator 5 movie has been set on rail. The film is directed by Alan Taylor and is set to hit theaters on July 1, 2015. It's kind of a reboot that should open be the first of a trilogy. The working title is Terminator Genesis. TERMINATOR 5 stars Arnold Schwarzenegger (“THE EXPENDABLES 1 & 2,” “TERMINATOR 1, 2 & 3”), Jason Clarke (“THE GREAT GATSBY,” “ZERO DARK THIRTY”), Emilia Clarke (“Game of Thrones”), Jai Courtney (“DIVERGENT,” “JACK REACHER”), J.K. Simmons (“MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN,” “UP IN THE AIR”), Dayo Okeniyi (“THE HUNGER GAMES,” “THE SPECTACULAR NOW”), and Byung Hun Lee (“RED 2,” “G.I. JOE: RETALIATION”). Stay tuned with us! :)

Terminator 5 Plot Revealed?
Director McG gave an interview (here) to Film Journal International (it's a trade publication and website covering the motion picture industry, so we may consider it a reliable source). An he's been surprisingly talkative about what could be ahead with the movie Terminator 5:
Don't really really know yet if he's half-joking or speaking the truth, but such a plot would be awesome! I almost wet my pants at thinking about it! Bring it on McG!
The fourth movie isn't yet out that I'm already excited about Terminator 5! Love Hollywood!

Terminator 5 Movie in 2011
Halcyon is the production company owning the rights for Terminator. Thanks to Halcyon and to Director McG we will soon enjoy Terminator 4.
Thrilled by the positive anticipation of the public, Halcyon executives Derek Anderson and Victor Kubicek, at the Dubai International Film, have confirmed their intention to develop a fifth installment in the Terminator movie series.
Director McG should then be back for a Terminator 5 movie. Christian Bale will quite certainly reprise his role of John Connor: he not only signed for a trilogy from the very beginning but he also really enjoys the role of Mankind's savior fighting against the machines.
More details about this Terminator Salvation sequel will surface once the fourth opus is released in May.
For now, Terminator 5 seems tentatively scheduled for a release in 2011. I hope they will film both Terminator 5 and Terminator 6 in parallel.
Really happy to hear about this Terminator 5 movie!
